Qualifying Questions to ask yourself ?
  • Are you replacing an existing appliance?
    • If no, cabinetry work, electrical and or venting may be required, depending on the service; please request a measure.
  • Is the appliance the same size as the one being replaced?
    • If no, refer to the new install package if applicable and determine if a measure may be needed.
  • For cooktop installations, is there an existing rangehood above?
    • If yes, please ensure there is enough clearance between the cooktop and rangehood.
    • If no, the customer will require a range hood before installation can occur.

Installation IncludesInstallation Does Not Include
  • Review installation with customer at start of work.
  • Remove packaging and inspect unit.
  • Disconnect existing appliance.
  • Install of the new appliance and connect electrical services.
  • Installation of anti-tip bracket if supplied with the appliances.
  • Ensure appliance is properly grounded.
  • Test to ensure proper operation.
  • Disposal of old unit and packaging.
  • Pick-up and delivery of the unit, unless delivery via installer has been purchased.
  • Structural modifications
  • Removal of cabinetry to accommodate new appliances.
  • Upgrade of electrical service.

Note: Replacement of circuit breakers(requires a licensed electrician).
