Qualifying Questions To Ask Yourself ?
  • Are you replacing an existing gas appliance?
    • If no, gas measure is required.
  • Is there 4” of space between the wall and the intended installation location?
    • If no, it will require a specialized venting kit.
  • Have you purchased a metal hose or dryer venting kit?
    • If no, additional charges will apply to supply these parts.
  • For replacements, is there a shut-off valve in place?
    • If no, additional charges for a shut off valve will apply.
  • Will you require a gas conversion to be done?
    • If yes, please ensure you have the conversion kit specific to your unit, additional charges will apply for the labour.

Basic Laundry Installation IncludesInstallation Does Not Include
  • Review installation with customer at start of work.
  • Remove packaging and inspect unit.
  • Terminate gas service and/or water from shut-off valve ensure line is capped.
  • Remove parts from drum and shipping bolts from back of washer.
  • Stack units or place on pedestals for packages that include this service.
  • Level ling of the washer and or dryer.
  • Connect gas service and ventilation to new gas appliance if applicable.
  • Includes supply and install of gas flex line if applicable.
  • Turn on water and/or gas service and test all connections for leaks.
  • Run test cycle on units and review installation with customer.
  • Pick up and disposal of old unit and packaging.
  • Shut-off valve, gas conversions and structural modifications.
  • Metal vent hose for dryer and washer supply lines.
  • Removal of cabinetry to accommodate new appliances.
  • Upgrade of electrical services or gas services.

Note: Replacement of circuit breakers (requires a licensed electrician).
