Scope of Work:
- Review installation details and preferred location with the customer before beginning work.
- Confirm the new over-the-range microwave (OTR) is placed near the installation area and ready for setup.
- Unpack the unit and inspect for any visible damage or missing components.
- Install a grounded, code-compliant electrical receptacle if replacing a range hood (power must be available at the site).
- Securely mount and center (when possible) the support bracket according to manufacturer specifications.
- Adjust and position the exhaust fan as needed to work with existing ventilation.
- Connect and seal the OTR to the existing duct system, if applicable.
- Plug in the OTR and secure it using the provided mounting hardware.
- Install included filters, covers, panels, and accessories.
- Test the unit to confirm proper operation of the heating function (using a water-filled container), exhaust fan, and lights.
- DOES NOT INCLUDE: Cabinet modification, duct rerouting, electrical service upgrades, or removal and disposal of old units or packaging.
