Garage Door Opener Installation

What’s Included

• Review of installation details and site conditions with the customer before work begins
• Unboxing and inspection of the garage door opener for visible damage or missing components

Installation & Mounting

• Installation and secure mounting of the opener based on the selected configuration:
  • Overhead units: Mounted to the ceiling using existing structure and manufacturer‑provided brackets
  • Side‑mount units: Mounted to the wall beside the garage door and connected to the torsion bar system
• For side‑mount units, verification of adequate wall clearance and proper torsion bar compatibility and alignment
• Securing all mounting hardware and completing final assembly using manufacturer‑provided components

Power & Accessories

• Connection to an existing 110V electrical outlet within 3 ft of the opener motor
• Installation and configuration of standard accessories, including wall controls, remotes, wireless keypad, and exterior emergency key release (where applicable)
• Installation of emergency key release if required (e.g., single‑entry garages)

Safety & System Setup

• Installation and alignment of safety sensor eyes to ensure proper operation
• Installation of light bulbs (supplied by the customer)

Testing & Completion

• Testing of the opener, safety sensors, controls, and accessories to verify proper functionality and smooth operation
• Final cleanup of the immediate work area, including breaking down packaging materials and placing them aside for customer disposal

What’s Not Included

• Pick‑up or delivery of the garage door opener
• Disposal of existing opener or packaging
• Electrical upgrades, rewiring, or relocation of power outlets
• Structural modifications, reinforcement, or installation of additional support materials (e.g., back‑hang brackets, ceiling reinforcements)
• Supply or installation of additional materials required for compatibility, including torsion hardware, rail extensions, brackets, or reinforcement components
• Garage door maintenance, lubrication, balance adjustments, or mechanical repairs

Important Disclaimer

This service includes installation only, as explicitly described above, and assumes the presence of compatible garage door hardware, structural support, and an accessible power outlet within the required distance. Side‑mount (jackshaft) installations require sufficient wall clearance, proper torsion bar configuration, and compatible door systems. Additional materials or adjustments may be required depending on garage height, door configuration, or structural conditions and may result in additional charges. The garage area must be accessible and clear prior to installation. Pre‑existing damage, unsafe conditions, or non‑compliant setups may prevent completion of the service. We reserve the right to decline or stop service if safety, accessibility, or installation requirements are not met.

Optional Add‑On Services

Where applicable, optional services such as disposal of existing equipment or additional installation components may be available and will be presented during checkout if offered for your location and service type. Add‑on services must be purchased at the same time and cannot be sold separately.
